Accreditation Programs

Our accreditation process provides objective evidence that an organization operates at a high level of organizational, legal and technical standards. We bases its programs on internationally recognized standards in order to ensure worldwide acceptance of your accreditation. The accreditation criteria have been developed by our proffesional team to provide all interested parties with guidelines for implementing performance features of the applicable standards referenced in the accreditation criteria. 

Building Department and Third-Party Service Provider Accreditation

Our accreditation demonstrates that building departments have met the national standard and are competent to provide public safety services for their communities. The accreditation is based on Accreditation Criteria for Building Code Regulatory Agencies And Third-Party Service Providers (AC251). Getting accredited involves an assessment of the department’s goals, policies, and procedures, as well as permitting, inspections and plan reviews.

Calibration Laboratories

Our organization accredits calibration laboratories to ISO/IEC Standard 17025. This accreditation demonstrates to the marketplace and to regulators that calibration laboratories have met the industry recognized requirements for measurement traceability and undergo a program of periodic monitoring by IAS.

Fabricator Inspection Accreditation

We provides accreditation for structural steel (AC172), reinforced and precast/pre-stressed concrete (AC157) and wood wall panel fabricators (AC196) based on requirements in Chapter 17 of the International Building Code. Getting accredited involves an assessment of the fabricators management system and verification that the on-site inspections have met the requirements of industry standards.

Field Evaluation Body Accreditation

Southeast Asia Accreditation Body provides accreditation for field evaluation bodies (FEB) based on requirements for Field Evaluation of Unlisted Electrical Equipment (AC354), ISO/IEC 17020 and NFPA Standards. Accredited FEBs are qualified to evaluate unlisted electrical equipment in the field.

Inspection Agencies

Southeast Asia Accreditation Body accredits inspection agencies to ISO/IEC Standard 17020. This accreditation process involves an assessment of the agencies competence for performing inspections and the consistency of their inspection activities. We accredit agencies that perform inspections of materials, products, installations, processes or services.

Management System Certification Bodies

Our organisation accredits certification bodies to ISO/IEC Standard 17021 which specifies requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems. This accreditation demonstrates to the marketplace, stakeholders and regulators that the bodies have met the accreditation requirements and are periodically monitored for compliance.

Cold-Formed Steel Component Manufacturer Inspection Accreditation

Our Orgnisation accredits the inspection programs of companies that are manufacturers of cold-formed steel (structural and nonstructural) components that do not require welding. The accreditation is based on requirements and Accreditation Criteria AC473. The accreditation provides evidence that the manufacturer has the personnel, organization, experience, knowledge, management system, and commitment to operate a program in accordance with specified requirements.

Medical Laboratories

Southeast Asia Accreditation Body accredits medical laboratories to ISO 15189:2022 and industry specific standards. This accreditation demonstrates to the marketplace and to regulators that the medical laboratories have met our accreditation requirements and are periodically monitored for compliance.

Proficiency Testing Provider Accreditation

Southeast Asia Accreditation Body offers accreditation for Proficiency Testing Providers to ISO/IEC 17043: 2010, Conformity assessment – General requirements for proficiency testing. Accreditation demonstrates competence of a Proficiency Testing Provider (PTP) seeking to be recognized for operating a management system in accordance with international standards.

Testing Laboratories

Our organization accredits testing laboratories to ISO/IEC Standard 17025 and industry specific standards. This accreditation demonstrates to the marketplace and to regulators that the laboratories have met the accreditation requirements and are periodically monitored for compliance.
